Hi, I'm Charlotte.


I've been interested in people, their stories, what they care about, and how they move through the world since I was very little.


I explored that deep interest in what makes people tick from a lot of different angles over the years (film, journalism and tech to name a few) before settling into therapy where all of these experiences inform my practice.


How I approach therapy

I am a psychodynamic and relational therapist. This means that I'll still provide you with tools, but I'm interested in exploring how your past experiences and relationships are playing in to how you navigate the world today.


It also means we'll sometimes talk about our relationship. This can sound scary, but I promise it's where the good stuff happens.


I also integrate Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) into my practice. EMDR is an evidence-based treatment that's currently the gold standard for trauma. We can do EMDR as part of your overall treatment alongside traditional therapy or as a stand alone treatment. It is a somatic treatment, meaning it brings your body into the work.
